My Best Bud

Hi all! I hope this finds you having a great Tuesday. One really good thing about Tuesdays is that it's not Monday any more. HA!

One thing that I really admire are people who are blessed with a green thumb. Their flower gardens grow with gusto and and sprinkled with such a beautiful array of colors and greenery. I use the excuse that I work full time to excuse myself from not having the type of yard and garden that I so admire. Who knows if I would have a heavenly garden, even if I had more time, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating the beauty around me. I may not have the time or patience to grow the garden of my dreams, but I can create paper blossoms, that don't require much time, watering, care and are impossible to kill (well, except those flowers that didn't turn out like I want - HA!)

This flower is for my best bud - giggle - who always brings sunshine and happiness to my life. I put together this card by using a scallop circle cut from Wisteria patterned paper from Basic Grey. I stamped a blossom along with the sentiment into the center of the scalloped circle and then clipped each petal. Underlining "my best bud" are three crystals by Zva Creative - these crystals come in so many sizes and designs - it was hard to choose which ones I wanted to use.

I also cut my stem and leaves from the same Wisteria paper . I attached the sentiment to my cardbase using two of the smaller glazed brads also from Basic Grey.

Do you have a best bud that could use a little sunshine? Why not send a little love in the mail...it may not smell as sweet as the real thing, but gifts from the heart are always welcome.

Have a great day.
