TLC215 Flower Pot Pocket Card

Hello peeps.  Welcome to another week...a very special week since it's the last week before Easter.  Are you ready?  Do you have all of your Easter Baskets ready to fill?  I hope so, but even if you don't, there is still time.

For today's Technique Lover's Challenge we are creating our own flower pot pocket card.  While it's still a little cool in my area for a lot of potted flowers, that doesn't mean that we can't create a little bloomin' beauties to liven up the mailbox of a friend.

I had great fun creating this project.  On my cardstock for my flower pot, I used some white ink (direct to paper) and swiped it downwards to created a little more natural look of terra cotta...at least I tried. *wink*  The flowers were all created using my Daisies #2 die from Stampin' Up!

The pocket card is removed to reveal a friendly sentiment for someone special.  How fun.  This project really came together much quicker than I thought it would when I first started.
