There is one thing that every mother knows...no matter how badly their children behave during the day, they are all angels when they sleep. Just look at their precious faces as they dream of castles, faeries and dragons...they are God's gift to us so perhaps it's no accident that they remind us of angles when they sleep. It's as if God gave us these precious sleeping moments so we could forget the turmoil of the day and be reminded of what a gift of love they are. Those precious sleeping memories was the inspiration for this card.
Using some of the most stunning paper around from the Mica Metallic collection at PaperTemptress. The subtle shimmer of this beautiful cardstock was just the right touch to remind me of stardust and sweet dreams. I stamped the focal image onto the Opal color and colored the image with Copic Markers. This paper takes color beautifully and yet lets the shimmer shine through.
The sentiment was stamped on the same cardstock as the image and placed behind a chipboard frame covered with patterned paper and embellished with blue pompom ribbon.
During the month of April, the Super Novas on Paper Craft Planet are focusing our attention and designs toward babies and mothers. It's one sweet relationship that is sometimes difficult to describe but impossible to deny...a bond that surpasses time and space.

I feel like I've know Gina forever, but I imagine she makes everyone she meets feel the same way. Naturally, I've always been a big fan of her and her company since way back when. I had the opportunity to finally meet Gina in person last July at CHA and she was everything I imagined her to be...sweet and genuine. I feel very honored to be working with her to help develop this one-of-a-kind publication.
Be sure to check out Gina's post from yesterday, if you haven't seen it yet.
Thanks again for looking in on me today!
