Glitter by, Butterfly

A couple of weeks ago, the Molly Stamps Design Team put out a challenge to create a card using Wings & Things and to incorporate eyelets into our design.  Well, this is my card for that challenge.  It's pretty simple, really, with the help of some great papers, a great stamp set, and some bling, I feel all spring-like inside.

Behind the butterfly images are secondary stamped images using Versamark and embossed with Stardust embossing powder, giving the back light a shimmer fitting these beauties of nature.

My card base is magenta cardstock from PaperTemptress coupled with some patterned paper from Making Memories.  To dress up the scalloped edge, I added some bling topped off with a wee bit of ribbon above the sentiment.

So the heat is now on to the rest of the Design Team to get their eyelet cards posts!

I also have some $$$ saving news from PaperTemptress (and what paper crafter isn't in love with paper and a great deal) In celebration of the roll out of the PaperTemptress official blog  There are a couple of video tutorials that uses PaperTemtpress' fabulous new leather cardstock, and Patricia - the Paper Temptress herself, is offering this leather cardstock at 40% off for the month of April!

The blog will offer challenges and a weekly give-away.  The days of the give-aways will vary, so be sure to subscribe to the blog to keep up to date!  And in closing, Patricia has one more detail she wanted me to share with you.  To encourage and promote  creativity among our children, PaperTemptress is hosting a search for PaperPrincesses or PaperPrinces to spotlight their projects.  Do you want to get your creative kid involved?  If they are under 18, a crafty gal or guy, they may be selected to serve on the PaperTemptress Design Team for a month.  They will be able to highlight their work and probably  teach us a few things.  For consideration, just e-mail Patricia, the Paper Temptress herself at

Thanks so much for popping in today.  You're visits make me happy and bring me such joy!
