This isn't the card that I had originally planned to share with you today, but sometimes you just have to go with the card that speaks to you most, and this card is a reminder for me that we can worry and fret over this or that, but when that happens, we loose the joy of the moment. So with a reminder to "Celebrate the Moment" we can release those things that keep us from truly living in the moment. That time spent in worry is gone in a blink, never to return, so don't squander it...live fully and enjoy each moment, for a moment may be all we have.
.This card was made from a Gina K set that I all but forgot that I even had. I've recently been buying the Binder Boxes that Gina sells to help organize the ever growing collection of stamps, and in the process of going through some of my sets, I ran across my Festive Labels set. I immediately inked it up and put this card together. I embossed the sentiment with copper embossing powder on the vanilla cardstock and used one of my Fiskars corner decorative punch to add some interest to the panel.
To accent the copper embossing on the main image, I used some delicious paper from Paper Temptress, Metallic Mica Copper. It's just gorgeous paper with the most beautiful shimmer and shine and it's on SALE right now on the Paper Temptress site as is all of her Mica/Metallic cardstock.
To finish off my card, I tied a large ribbon and finished it off with this awesome copper button that I had in my stash that I bought in a big lot from Buttons Galore & More.
I hope that you Celebrate the Moment today, taking in the beauty of the small wondrous events in your life, be they big, small, or however insignificant they may seem. Life is a gift, a precious time we are given, so don't waste it on worry.
...and on an ending note:
