Today I found a little time to play with some of my Papertrey stuff. This Night Sky Shimmer cardstock is beautiful and just right for some special Christmas cards. It's a little tough to photograph to get the full beauty of its shimmer, but I think I caught it at this weird angle...lol
I created this card for the Papertrey Casual Mid-Weekly Challenge and the sketch design was so intriguing that I had to give it a try. I was able to use my newest Martha Stewart Border Punch, which I just got yesterday. I was so pleased to walk into Michael's yesterday and find that they had a ton on new MS punches. The one I used for this card is Embossed Snowflake and I think it makes a lovely border for this sketch.
Thanks for looking in today, and until next time, I hope your day is a beautiful one.
Stuff I Used: Stamps: Snowflake Serenade, All Year Cheer III; Papers: Stamper's Select White, Night Sky Shimmer Cardstock; Inks: Night of Navy, Versamark; Other Stuff: 1/4" white organza ribbon, Embossed Snowflake Border Punch (MS), White Embossing Powder, 3/4", 1/2" & 1-3/4" Circle Punches, flat back pearls, button, glue dots.
