CMWC30 A Geometric Sketch Challenge

Hello and happy Hump Day! :) Today it was my turn to present the Casual Mid-Weekly Challenge over on the Papertrey Ink forum, and this was the sketch I used. If you have been reading my blog long, you know that I love geometric shapes, so naturally my challenge card would have a geometric theme. This one is certainly full of squares and lines.

For my card I used a variety of pattern papers made by PTI along with last year's Snowflake Serenade, because my new PTI snowflake set has not yet been shipped (insert sad face here). But I do love this set and find that the snowflakes in Snowflake Serenade suit my geometric love just fine.

I couldn't see using so many brads for my dotted portion of this card, so I used some Dot Sparkler stickers. I have tons of these, and they are so easy to apply since they are self-adhering. I did use my mat pack to pierce holes in the card so that I would have evenly spaced dots.

I even used more sparkler stickers on the snowflake.

If you would like to play along with the sketch challenge, by all means - feel free. I'd love to see your creations, so if you do use the sketch, drop me a note and let me know where I can find it so that I can take a peek!
Until next time, have a fabulous day!
Stuff I Used: Stamps: Snowflake Serenade, Believe; Papers: Pure Poppy, Holiday Vintage Prints, Spring Moss, Stamper's Select White; Inks: Pure Poppy Palette Ink; Other Stuff: Stampendous Dot Sparklers, Stampin' Dimensionals, 3/4" and 1-3/8" square punches.
