Hello everyone, and a BIG happy Friday to you all. I'm still in shock that it's now October because it seems like only last week it was New Years...lol. The time has just flown by and with October brings the holiday creating frenzy. I've been busy working on Halloween cards and small goodies for co-workers and family, Fall Greetings and a couple of Christmas cards. As soon as I complete my Halloween projects, I'll really get into my Christmas card production mode full swing, but until then, I'm trying to continue to fit in a few Fall cards, which brings me to my post today. It's another Blogger's Challenge Friday, and our challenge this week was to create a love/anniversary or a Fall card (Falling for you), so I combined the two and made a 'Falling for you' fall card. (giggle).
This card is pretty simple in design, but I'm pleased with the way it turned out. Especially since I was able to use some patterned paper that I've had for nearly a year. Why do I buy stuff that I have to have, but yet it takes me a year to use it. Apparently there is a flaw in my thinking that "I have to have it". Obviously if I didn't use it for a year, I didn't need it THAT bad. However, I was happy that I had it when I went to make this card. I found that the Kiwi Kiss and Riding Hood Red colors matched really well with the colors in the card.
I'm also loving my Curly Label punch, which I used to mat the three leafs from Kim Hughes' Fall Silhouette stamp set. The sentiment, from the same set, was perfect for this week's challenge!
If you are in need of some inspiration for some fall cards, be sure to check out the other Blogger's Challenge players, all of whom may be found by clicking the Blogger's Challenge Logo link along the left-hand sidebar of my blog.
Until tomorrow, have a SUPER Friday and thanks so much for stopping by today!
