TECC31 Make Mine Chocolate

Hi again...it's Friday and that can only mean one thing....CHOCOLATE...no seriously, it means it's the end of another work week, the beginning of the Labor Day Weekend, and it's Cupcake Friday which means it's a Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge coming your way.

Taylor provided this sketch for us to use this week, and I took the opportunity to use some older patterned paper. Funny how this stuff tends to multiply overnight and the more I use my older patterned paper, the more I seem to have of it! How in the world does that happen?

This card is pretty straight forward so I won't bore you with lots of detail. I did add some stickles to my brads on either side of the sentiment (which I love and may make this my official motto). It's difficult to see the stickles, so you will just have to trust me when I tell you, it's there.

This week's special honor of Featured Cupcake Sampler goes to Nancy Morgan (Paper Smiles) To see the card that won her this honorary title, click HERE. Congratulations Nancy! I raise my cupcake to toast to your cupcakieness! (can you toast with a cupcake?)
I bet you are wondering what all the other Cupcake Crew is up to this week? Well, wonder no more, just click on all the Cupcake Crew's link listed below:
Stephanie Hargis:
Steph's Stampin' Stuff
Sherrie Siemens: Card Creme
Vicki Chrisman: This Art that makes me Happy
Jami Sibley: More is More
Mary Jo Albright: Beauty Lies Within
Monika Davis: M.A.D. Stamper
Ana Wohlfahrt: Ink A Stamp
and don't forget TAYLOR!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you all have a very happy and safe Labor Day weekend. It may be the traditional "end of summer", but I'm hoping for a few more weeks of summer weather. I know I can't stall the start of autumn, but I can enjoy the warm days of the fading summer for as long as they last.

Stuff I Used: Stamps: Three Chocolate Truffles & Make Mine Chocolate (Whipper Snapper), Polka Dots & Petals (SU!); Papers: Close to Cocoa, Berry Bliss Double Sided Designer Papers (retired SU!); Inks: Close to Cocoa, Archival Jet Black; Other Stuff: Hodge Podge Hardware Styled Silver, Tag Punch, Word Window Punch, Slot Punch, Fruit Punch Stickles, Ribbon (Michael's) Copic Markers, Stampin' Dimensionals.
