{Blogger's Challenge Week 42 Triangle Something...}

Hello and welcome to another Blogger's Challenge Friday...this being week 42...ALREADY! This weeks challenge was to create a Triangle Box, but I just went with a Triangle Basket because a co-worker is celebrating a birthday and I wanted to make a little something for her, and I just wasn't feeling "the box".

I got the idea of this basket from the Scor-Pal project website. and did a little tweaking to make it my own. To make it more of a birthday basket, I included a piece of cake from the stamp set of the same name from Papertrey, layered with Liquid Applique that looks almost good enough to eat.

And what birthday would be complete without a couple of balloons. I realize that the colors of the balloons don't exactly jive with the color scheme of the basket, but they just looked so festive that I included them anyway. I stamped the balloons and then attached them to some twisted wire, with my attempt of the wire made to look like the balloons are floating.

This same co-worker was whining because she hadn't received anything crafty for Valentine's Day, and I gently reminder her that she had a birthday coming up and that I had been working on something for her. Funny how when you make a few things for co-workers, they begin to expect something for every little holiday! HA! A precedent has been set...it's my own fault.
