The sentiment that flows over the heart on this card reads, "The magic of music warms the heart and soothes the soul", which is exactly the way I feel. This stamp, made by Stamps Happen, was purchased at least 6 months ago, but just now found ink. I knew I would probably use it around Valentine's Day, but it really fits anytime of the year.
The Heart and surrounding area was colored with SU Pastel Chalks and then with my Spritzer Tool, I created the speckled background using a variety of colors. You may notice that I cut two flowers from the patterned paper and used those under the ribbon brads for accent.
I had an absolutely fabulous time yesterday at the St. Louis area SCS Shoebox Swap. Lots of food, great conversation (including our takes on the newest techniques and tools), and FABULOUS projects which I will show you in my next post. Until then, I hope you have a splendid day and that it's filled with a little music, much happiness and, of course, some stamping!
The Fine Print: Stamps: The Magic of Music by Stamps Happen; Papers: Rose Red, Whisper White, Patterned Paper from stash; Inks: Palette Noir; Accessories: SU! Pastel Chalks, Photo Corner Punch, Ribbon from Michael's, Color Spritzer Tool, Ribbon Brads from Wish RAK.
