I colored the image using my Copic markers, but I didn't color the hearts. Instead adhered these adorable heart Rain Drops onto the stamped hearts. The dimension these add are wonderful! The glitter heart border along the top was stamped using Versamark and embossed with Heat & Stick and then I added some red glitter from my "sparkle drawer" (lol), and then one more pass with the heat gun and that glitter is there to stay! Love Heat & Stick for glitter...no flaking at all. In fact, I took a stiff stencil brush and dusted the loose glitter from the card, running the brush right over the image and nothing came off from the stamped part. Awesome, huh?
I'm so happy I finally got to use this adorable little "Hearty Tree" from Stamping Bella. It makes such a sweet Valentine card to go along with my "loving hearts" sentiment/imagery.
Are you having a good day so far? I hope so, and I know mine was made better because you stopped by to see what I've been up to! See you tomorrow for the Friday Blogger's Challenge.
