After seeing Sketch Challenge 157 on SCS, I wanted to play along. I love layered designs and this one was so much fun. Since I'm on a Valentine's Day roll, I figured I would stick with it and create a sweet little card.
The patterned paper was gifted to me by a generous lady on Wish RAK, so I'm sorry that I don't have the manufacturer's name...if someone recognizes it, please post a comment and remind me who makes it!
The photo corners were done by first using my Fiskar's Hearts corner punch, and then fitting it into my Photo corner punch. I layered a piece of the coordinating patterned paper behind it to make the hearts stand out better.
I positioned the birds in front of the tree by masking them off before stamping the tree, and then I colored the birds with my copic markers. I hope you like my version of SC157, and if you would like to see all the cards using this sketch, just CLICK HERE.
Man, two posts in one day...that's some kind of record for me...and that is after working 8 hours. No matter if you worked outside the home 8 hours, or if you are STILL working at home (you stay at home Mom's know what I'm talking about), I'm happy that you took a moment to check out my blog. I do so appreciate you stopping by. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post, Blogger's Challenge Friday!
