I'm really trying to use up the tons of patterned paper that I have in my stash, and this candy cane paper has been in my possession for so long, I can't even tell you who makes it. I cut a piece and mounted it onto a piece of Real Red card stock and then onto the card base of Brilliant Blue.
The Kissy Deer stamp, by C.C. Designs, was stamped with Palette Noir ink onto Whisper White card stock and colored with my Copic Markers. I mounted the deer onto a piece of silver velum that was given to me by a fellow crafter.
Using my SU! photo corner punch I made two Real Red corners which I colored with my Sakura Gel Pen, creating a sort-of candy cane design. I wrapped three small jingle bells onto each corner punch using SU! silver cord and attached them with glue dots.
The sentiment is from the SU! set, Cute Converse, stamped in Real Read classic ink, cut and mounted using my Nestabilities. To create some dimension, I lifted the oval piece from the scalloped oval using dimensions.
I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend. It's been a busy one, so that means that it's been f-l-y-i-n-g by, and that always makes me a little sad because I treasure my time off on the weekends. Why can't we work 2 days a week and have 5 days off???
