{Good Friends are Only a Click Away}

Do you remember what it was like to either make a phone call or write a letter to let a friend know that you were thinking of them? I do, but I'm old..I also remember 3 cent stamps, 8 track tapes and black and white television sets, but let's not go there! {giggle}

I'm so glad that the Internet came along because it makes it so much easier to stay in touch with family and friends. Anytime, day or night, short or long, a message can be sent to a far off friend with a click of a "send" button. A friend from my bellaholicsanonymous Yahoo group sent me this image and sentiment and since I had long admired this Bella, I had to get busy with the image right away to make this card. I just adore this Bella and I knew I'd want to many many more, so I placed an order for her right away.

I colored my Bella using Copic markers and mounted her onto a piece of Marigold Morning and Wild Wasabi card stock before adhering it to the DCWV Glitter Stack paper I used. The other other thing that is unique to this card is the flower on the sentiment. I used my quilling fringer machine to create the bloom which I dressed up with a tiny rhinestone in the center.

I plan to give this card to one of my on-line friends. Although it's easy to send a quick e-mail these day, I also believe that we ALL enjoy getting FUN-mail every now and then. Why not send a card to a friend today...maybe someone you haven't heard from in a while, or perhaps select someone and RAK them! It's sure to bring a smile to their face.
Stamps: Clickabella by Stamping Bella; Papers: Whisper White, Papertrey Stampers Select White Card Stock, Wild Wasabi, Marigold Morning, DCWV Glitter Stack Patterned Paper, Twilling Strips; Inks: Perm Black; Accessories: Quilling Fringer machine, Wild Wasabi Double Stitched Ribbon, Rhinestone Bling for flower center, dimensionals.

Good Morning Lynn,
I can so go there with you. I will be 45 next month. My kids don't even remember casettes..Love the clickabella. It is great to get online and email & blog to keep up with family and friends. I do miss getting a letter, but love being able to look at photos. My brother is stationed in Stuttgart, Germany and it is great to see my nieces while they are traveling over there. Hugs, October Bella Babe! Chris
