{Double Pocket Tag Card}

Do you love techniques and special folds? I know I do. Nothing catches my eye like a new and interesting technique on a card and that is one reason that I joined Technique Junkies
two years ago. Every other month I receive a beautifully done, full-color newsletter packed with new and interesting techniques.

If you are a Technique Junkie, you know that the creator of this newsletter is Pat Huntoon and she is celebrating her 5th anniversary of this awesome newsletter. Pat is celebrating in a BIG way too. Each day on her blog she is giving away a fabulous gift. Check out her blog for all the details.

Another perk of being one of Pat's Technique Junkies is that not only do you get this wonderful newsletter, but you can also access the newsletters on-line which always offers an On-Line Bonus Technique. This Double Pocket Tag Card is the most recent bonus technique.

I used SU!'s Apple Cider Double Sided Designer paper for this card. The front medallions were created by punching out some circles from the paper and attaching them with brads to the front of the card. The center medallion is back with four 1/2 primas that I attached with glue dots and then adhered the entire thing with dimensions to the card.

I used two different things to create "grab" tags for my inserts. The insert on the left uses a metal swirl embellishment that was gifted to me from a fellow Wish RAK'er. I attached it to my tag using two sparklie brads. The tab on the tag on the right was created using my Round Tab punch.

I want to really encourage you to consider getting your own subscription to Technique Junkies. It's a fabulous way to expand your creativity through unique and beautiful effects. But, by all means, visit Pat's blog for your chance to win some great blog candy EVERY day this month!
