{'s not just for breakfast anymore}

Can you imagine someone who doesn't like chocolate? I know these unfortunate people exist, but it boggles my mind to think that there are those poor souls out there who don't go weak in the knees at the sight of Ghirardelli Chocolate, or swoon at the delicious smell as they pass the Godiva Chocolate store in any mall in America. That sweet, rich, decadent taste lusciously melts on your tongue, bathing your throat with a lingering after taste...ahhh, I could eat chocolate 24/7...except for my ginormous screams at me to step away from the goodies before it rebels and splits the seams of my double stitched jeans. How could something sooooo good be so bad for my body, particularly from the waste down? It just doesn't seem right, now does it? Why couldn't it just all go to my chest?

Although my mind craves the creamy goodness that IS chocolate, I allow that small voice talk me out of eating my favorite treat. I listen to the sound of my thighs rubbing together that forever reminds me that perhaps eating this delicious treat isn't the best thing that I could be doing for my gluteous maximus...and I do mean maximus.

But that doesn't mean that I can't dream about eating chocolate...or even STAMP about eating chocolate. And that is what I did with this adorable Rubber Romance stamp that I received from a very generous, but secret stamping friend. Yes, I did say secret because my very generous benefactor won't be revealed to me until Friday. How did she know that I loved Rubber Romance stamps? Did she just take for granted that every right-thinking woman in the world loves chocolate? Whatever conclusions she drew...she it hit it right on the mark. I instantly made this card as a thank you to her...who ever she is.

With a card stock base of Pretty in Pink, I added some sparklie paper from DCWV Glitter Stack. From there I colored the image that I had stamped onto Whisper White card stock, colored with my Copic markers and cut it out, adhering it to the designer paper.

The sentiment by Inkadinkados, was stamped on Whisper White card stock with Chocolate Chip (what else?) classic ink, which was cut with my Nestabilities. I backed that with another piece of Pretty in Pink, also die cut using my Nesties. That was attached to a piece of polka-dot organdy ribbon that I picked up at Michael's. It looks as if I put the piece of chocolate (do we see a pattern here) ribbon in this cute little lady's hair, but it's actually an accent on the sentiment. I accented each corner with a mini-button that I bought at a local stamp store.

I sure hope my secret friend likes this card...she has to love lease a teeny-bit as much as I do!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope that you will pop back in tomorrow as it is Week 15 of the Blogger's Challenge. Please stop by and see what my contribution will be!

I had to LOL @ your comment. I am a rare bird that doesn't like chocolate. I only will eat it if it is attached to a Reese's Peanut Butter cup. Even then I can only eat one and I've had enough.

What a great card. the colors are wonderful and you cut that image out so precisely.

How funny...great girlfriend card. I have a saying that says "there are two kinds of women...1) chocoholics 2) skinny *itches

I think this chic manages to be be both. Look at her all skinny laying there eating chocolates. I'm so jealous! LOL.
