{Blogger's Challenge-Week 18 Designer Paper}

This week's challenge was easy for me...easy because I love using Designer Patterned Paper on my cards. It's the fastest and easiest way to create a card that is sure to produce a WOW!

This card began with a white card base. I used my Papertrey Stamper's Select card stock on this card. I love the heavy weight of this card stock because gives cards a very professional feel to them.

I selected Loves Me patterned paper from last year, which I stitched together on my sewing machine. Before attaching the patterned paper to the card base, I wrapped a piece of pink Gingham ribbon to dress up the card AND cover where the two patterned papers meet.

My focal image is a Lockhart stamp, stamped with Palette Noir ink, which I colored with a combination of my SU! markers and my Copics. I trimmed the cupcakes to fit the inside of this self-adhesive acrylic frame

Using a sentiment, Thoughtful Phrases, by Verve Visuals, I stamped it on a scrap of Whisper White card stock using Close to Cocoa classic ink. I trimmed the piece to fit behind the acrylic tag, which I attached to the card using two rhinestone brads from my Pretties Kit.
