I received a few new Cuttlebug embossing folders over the weekend that I had ordered from All That Scraps and naturally I had to play a little. I love Polka-Dot Posies set, but don't use it very often (why is that???). Since my embossing folder had rounded flowers on it, I thought that the posie would look nice with it. I didn't have the right colored eyelets, so I made these faux eyelets, which is a really simple way to always have the right eyelet to match your project. I used my 1/8" circle punch and punched 3 holes into the green galore, then I took my 1/4" punch and centered it around the 1/8" hole and punched. I adhered the card stock with some two-way glue. Then I applied a think layer of glassy glaze onto the "eyelets" and let dry. To really make them look like eyelets, one should punch holes in the paper, but I hadn't done that yet when I snapped this picture.
This is a pretty simple card with no real techniques involved, but since I was more or less just playing with my Cuttlebug, I don't mind.
