{Delight in Life}

I have been drooling over this Delight in Life set ever since I saw the first preview of SU!'s Sell-A-Bration sets. There have been SO many beautiful samples using this set on SCS that I relented to the voices in my head saying, "go ahead...get it". I'm not very pleased with the color quality of this photograph because in real life all of the greens blend very well together. Somehow in this picture the greens tend to clash...but trust me, it's all goes together in color harmony. The flowers in the background image was done using a technique called Colorwash Batik which I learned from the Technique Junkies December/January newsletter. I used the colorwash colors of Lettuce and Stream made by Ranger Inks.

  • Stamps: Delight in Life, Label Classics
  • Inks: Garden Green, Ranger Colorwash Inks in Lettuce & Stream
  • Paper/Card Stock: Garden Green, Old Olive, Watercolor Paper
  • Embellishments/Tools: Cuttlebug Script Embossing Plate, SU! Buttons, Fibers from my stash, Rounded Corner Punch and Green Stickles that outline the sentiment
