{Best Fishes}

I'm not really into fish stamps, but this little guy is just so cute that I couldn't help myself. I used some patterned paper (has been in my stash for so long, I don't know who makes it, or what it's called) which I ran through my Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug Embossing folder. The only other thing that I did out of the ordinary on this card was to try to give the illusion of bubbles by using Ranger Glassy Glaze dotted around both layers of the round scallop punches I used to mount my little fish. In this picture, the ribbon is much more turquoise than IRL. It actually matches the card stock better than is illustrated here. It's very hard to see, but I fashioned a hook (that I tried very hard to make look like a real fish hook, but I think I failed miserably) that hangs from the bow. It's pretty obvious from looking at the hook that I'm not a fisherman and don't really know WHAT they look like. That's not to say that I have never been fishing; I have, if you can call it that. I could never bait my own hook, nor could I ever take a fish off my hook that was unfortunate enough to get snagged. I guess it's really not fishing if all you do is hold the poll. :) I love nature; I just don't like being out it in...lol

Stamps: Very Punny; Papers: Cool Caribbean, Cameo Coral, Whisper White; Inks: Basic Black, Cool Caribbean, Cameo Coral; Accessories: Giga and Mega Circle Scallop punches, Ribbon from Michael's, Silver Wire (reasonable faxsimile of a hook), Ranger Glassy Glaze, 1-1/4 and 1 3/8 Circle Punches
